Feed orders, bin deliveries, and kill sheets post against the originating lot, freight from Movement & Compliance rides on the same lot, and the invoice inbox drops the mill's PDF straight onto the batch. How does cost flow in without double entry?

Production events and movements post to the lot they belong to automatically, so feed, vet, freight, and kill revenue build cost per pig and margin without anyone entering it twice.

Can it read a receipt off my phone?

Yes. Attach the photo or PDF to an expense and the scanner reads the vendor, number, date, total, and tax, classifies the document, and routes it. Once a vendor has been seen, the next one from them lands in the same category on its own.

What about bills that aren't tied to a batch?

Organization-level expenses cover them — insurance, utilities, equipment — and recurring ones post themselves on their schedule. The organization P&L then spreads that overhead across the farms and months it belongs to.

Do I license Financial separately?

No. Financial comes with the Grow-Finish licence; the two are bundled because the feed and kill data that make cost per pig live are already in Grow-Finish.

Does it replace our lot-level closeout spreadsheet?

That's the point. Lot-level accounting is built in, so the closeout is a report you open, not a spreadsheet you rebuild.
